Today we had a fantastic and private 4-hour tour with our guide Pedro. Because we are in Lisbon for a very short 46 hours, it was important to us to make the most of our time and see as much as we could. Firstly, Pedro arrived early which is always appreciated! Communication prior to the tour was efficient and the tour itself exceeded our expectations. Pedro is an archeologist with a very broad knowledge of history and a great sense of humour. If you want to avoid a line up for a famous Belem tart, he’s your guy as well. I won’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. Sure, we could have eventually made our way to many of these places on our own eventually but time was not on our side and I’m quite sure our knees would have been pretty angry with us given the steep cobble stone sidewalks of this beautiful city. I had truely the most exceptional tour with Mário! He was an absolutely amazing person who is so knowledgeable, passionate and engaging. He took me all over Lisbon and truely made me feel like I got to see the entire city in a day. We went to so many sights and areas and I felt like I saw every part of the city. He was so wise and I learnt so much with him and he taught me so much about Lisbon and its very rich history. As a solo traveller I can highly recommend investing in this tour especially if you have limited time in Lisbon and want to see all of the most important sights and landmarks, Mário truely made my time in Lisbon so special and I am so grateful that he was my guide for the afternoon and for the best day out in Lisbon ever!
Great way to see the city with limited time. Our guide Helena was amazing with her wealth of knowledge about Lisbon. I went with a parent who has mobility issues so this was a fantastic option. We felt like VIP's getting whisked into Pastels de Belem and getting dropped off right at scenic view points.
