Night Diver

Many species of fish and crustaceans are nocturnal, making them difficult to observe during daytime dives as they remain hidden in crevices and sheltered areas. At night, these species become active and emerge in search of food, transforming familiar dive sites into completely different environments. For adventurous divers, this creates a unique opportunity to experience the underwater world in a new and exciting way, discovering behaviors and marine life that are rarely seen during daylight hours.

The Night Diving specialty is designed to prepare divers for this distinctive experience by focusing on essential safety and navigation skills. During the course, students learn correct flashlight use, underwater orientation, proper buoyancy control techniques, effective buddy systems, and the communication signals used in night diving. The training includes two open water dives conducted after sunset, allowing divers to apply their skills in real conditions while gaining confidence and comfort in the dark.
