Diving trips for certified divers offer the opportunity to explore some of the best dive spots along the south coast of São Miguel Island. The trips are conducted from a boat, allowing divers to access sites that may not be reachable from shore and providing a unique perspective of the island’s underwater landscapes. For convenience, the dive center offers briefing and de-briefing sessions, a washing and drying station, and secure equipment storage. Additionally, equipment rental is available for those who do not have their own gear, ensuring that everyone can participate comfortably.
The diving schedule varies by season to accommodate optimal conditions and availability. From October to June, daily departures are available at 9 am and 2 pm, while from July to September, there are daily double departures at 8:30 am and single departures at 2:30 pm. Once a diving package is booked, the dive center coordinates and schedules the next dives, providing a smooth and organized experience for certified divers who wish to explore multiple sites during their stay.
