I recently booked Romeo and Juliet Guide Wine Tours to plan a very special wedding proposal, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! This was my very first walking tour, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Diane made the experience unforgettable — she was warm, personable, and had the most engaging smile that instantly put everyone at ease. Her passion for Verona and its history came through in every story she told. The four hours flew by as she guided us through the city with energy and charm. March 2025... We just completed our 4th Verona wine tour with Virginia of Romeo & Juliet Guide. She put together a “customized” 3 winery tour with lunch and an “overlook” stop with breathtaking views of the Valpolicella area for our group of 10 people The tour was very well organized and everyone had an absolutely FANTASTIC experience. We tasted many great DOC, DOCG, ITG wines and had a delicious lunch with homemade sausage and lasagna. My wife and I personally ordered 6 cases of our favorite wines for shipment back to the USA which Virginia will handle all the logistics. We could do these tours over and over again, the Valpolicella area is such a beautiful place not to mention the superior wine. Virginia is an excellent and very experienced guide, she is highly knowledgeable of the local Verona area wines, Italian wines in general and the city of Verona and the surrounding area. October 2024... Virginia customized and setup a three Amarone winery tour for us, light lunch was included with the focus on "vintage" Amarone wine. We tasted many great DOC, DOCG, ITG wines from the three small boutique wineries visited and even sampled some Amarone still in the aging barrel - wish I could have taken a bottle or two of that barrel wine home with me!!! The tour was very well organized, we had a fantastic experience and ordered eleven cases of our favorite wines for shipment back to the USA which Virginia will handle all the logistics. The Amarone tour was an amazing experience! The wineries were beautiful and authentic, the wine and food absolutely delicious. Valpolicella is stunning, and I had so much fun. Our guide was super friendly and professional – highly recommended
