The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course is designed to help divers glide effortlessly underwater, using less air and moving with precision while observing marine life. This specialty course builds on the buoyancy skills learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level. Participants will learn to determine the right amount of weight and the optimal placement of trim weights to streamline their body position. During two in-water dives, divers practice buoyancy checks and master neutral buoyancy, improving their control and efficiency underwater. The course is ideal for PADI Junior Open Water Divers or higher who are at least 10 years old, with a total commitment of one half day and two dives. eLearning requires two to four hours and allows students to complete the academic portion at their convenience.
While enjoying the beautiful marine environment, divers will have plenty of opportunities to photograph stunning corals and marine life, as well as take memorable selfies. On the way, participants may encounter the local intelligent octopus and admire the breathtaking Ponta Da Piedade cliffs. Diving equipment, manuals, and certification are included, while dive computers, flashlights, and surface marker buoys are not. Swimming wear and towels should be brought along, and the activity is not wheelchair accessible.
