Embark on a captivating journey through the vineyards of a renowned organic winery nestled in Urbino’s picturesque countryside, within the Montefeltro region along the Foglia River. The estate, certified organic by CCPB, has been a pioneer in sustainable farming and biodiversity preservation since nineteen ninety seven, and is located within the La Badia Wildlife Oasis. This commitment to environmental stewardship is reflected not only in their winemaking but also in their high quality olive oil, crafted with traditional methods and paired with freshly baked bread during your visit.
Your two hour guided tour begins with an exploration of the estate’s vineyards, where you'll learn about their unique organic farming methods and how the diverse terroir of the region, along with sustainable practices, shapes their wines. As you walk among the vines, your guide will share insights into the estate’s cultivation of both indigenous and international grape varieties such as Biancame, Verdicchio, Montepulciano, and Sangiovese Grosso. The wine’s distinct character is the result of a harmonious blend of tradition and modern winemaking techniques, which your guide will explain in detail.
After the vineyard tour, you’ll move to the winery’s tasting room, where you’ll indulge in a tasting of five organic wines that capture the essence of the local terroir. In addition to the wines, you’ll have the opportunity to savor the estate’s DOP certified olive oil, which highlights their dedication to sustainable agriculture. As you taste, your expert guide will discuss the winemaking process, the history of the estate, and the philosophy behind their organic practices. The experience concludes with an opportunity to purchase some of the wines and olive oil, allowing you to bring a taste of Urbino home.

We visited Cantina Terracruda the night before our wedding in Fossombrone, as all of our wine had been specially chosen from their vineyard. It was such a special and memorable experience. From the start, the communication via email was warm, responsive, and helpful throughout the year, and they even kindly agreed to open early just for us. When we arrived, we were greeted with a genuinely warm welcome from the family owners, along with two very friendly spaniels who reminded us of our own dog back home! The owner was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, and he gave us a private hour long tour through various vineyards, offering stunning views and a wonderfully informative insight into their work, all in brilliant English. His enthusiasm for the land, the grapes, and their family run business was wonderful to see. We then explored the winery and production, before sitting in the sunshine in their lovely courtyard to taste 12 different wines, paired with delicious antipasti, fresh bread, and olive oil. Each wine was distinctive and we were guided through them with explanations and written tasting notes. It was the most extensive and engaging tasting we’ve ever done! We were having such a lovely time that we couldn’t resist purchasing a bottle of our wedding wine, Boccalino, to enjoy in the garden overlooking the rolling countryside. The accommodation was also fantastic - spacious, clean, and charming, with access to a variety of lovely gardens, seating areas, and a large pool. It was the ideal place to relax and finish our final wedding preparations. For the quality of the wine, the setting, and the service, we felt it was an absolute bargain. It should have cost double! We couldn’t recommend Cantina Terracruda more highly and would love to return in the future. We’ll definitely be in touch to see about shipping some wine to the UK! Grazie mille to the entire Terracruda team for such a memorable experience.

Some of the finest wines & hospitality in the region. The tasting was as delicious as it was informative & the ethos of this family run winery is totally on point.

This is a fabulous B&B with 4 apartments and a terrific swimming pool attached for the residents use. The views are breathtaking and within easy reach of the Adriatic coast if you want a day at the beach. San Marino is 75 mins away, Rimini about 55 mins away and Numana where you can join a guided tour of.tye Turtle release at the Two sisters beach. Onsite @ Terracuda Cantina there is a winery and shop for thos partial to award winning local wines. Maria, Luca, Carlos & Leonora all made the stay a great break. Everything in the area is well priced and the wine is available on site. Highly recommended to stay here, if not for you then at least arrange a wine tasting tour ( about 9 wines with some cheese, bread and meats ) the grounds, the factory and the shop.

We enjoyed a very informative wine tasting session. Panoramic views and healthy well run organic vineyard. Hosts are very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Eleanora who did our presentation was both knowledgeable and friendly. We tried approximately 12 different wines with breads, cheeses & meats to complement the wines. Absolutely brilliant session, great value and highly recommended. Very reasonably priced high quality wines. You should definitely take the time to visit this spectacular place

Had an amazing tasting experience with the Itineris project. Luca was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and was very welcoming. The place is stunning, surrounded by beautiful hills. We tasted several types of wine produced by Terracruda, including their three versions of Bianchello, two ancient grapes Incrocio Bruni 54 & Garofanata, and their Spumanti. Would highly recommend a visit if in Le Marche.
