In October 2025, I went on two back-to-back tours with the Beaches of Normandy Tours Company: the 9-Day Band of Brothers Tour and the 11-Day Southern Italian tour. Each tour was outstanding. Both tour directors, Tunde and Rey, were exceptionally helpful and professional. They were always pleasant and worked hard to ensure a great experience. The company uses local, extremely knowledgeable tour guides for the WWII sites and other historical locations, and they too were outstanding. Having the opportunity to see so many critical WWII sites and other amazing locations is an experience I'll always treasure. If you're considering taking a tour with them, do it - it'll be one of the best decisions you make.
Truly a humbling and emotional experience. Since I was a child, I've read books, watched documentaries and movies about WWII. Now to have walked the beaches seen the areas and visited the American Cemetery in person, history was brought to life for me. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and give a vivid description of the events that occurred at each location we visited. From arrival to departure, a very professional and organized tour. It's an experience that I will never forget. I got to go on my dream vacation. I also visited places that I never thought that I would ever visit. The guides were awesome and very pleasant people. They were so knowledgeable too. The bus was comfortable and the bus driver was so nice. If you love history, especially WWII history, then this tour would be for you. Even if you love to travel, it is a great way to see the world and meet wonderful people.
