Mangrove Kayaking

This tour is carefully planned around the tides and begins about one and a half hours before the tide reaches its highest point. The journey starts at our office and continues to Boca Coronado where guests board a boat to explore the winding mangrove channels. Along the route visitors can observe more than five species of mangrove trees each featuring distinctive flowers and fruits that reflect the richness of this coastal ecosystem.

As the tour continues the mangroves reveal a diverse range of wildlife including American crocodiles alligators raccoons hawks ibis basilisks monkeys and several species of herons. Colorful orchids can also be seen growing naturally within the area adding to the scenic beauty. Midway through the tour guests enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by the mangroves where a light snack is served before the journey continues through this peaceful and fascinating environment.
