Endangered Species Day

Enhance your visit to the Kemah Aquarium by upgrading your experience during any of our special events. Guests, families, and friends can take advantage of discounted Animal Meet & Greet and Aquarium Exhibit Tour options, each including entry to Stingray Reef and other exhibits. During Endangered Species Day, visitors will learn about protecting endangered wildlife while enjoying Keeper Chats, interactive scavenger hunts, and the Conservation Station. Animal Meet & Greets provide up-close encounters with ambassador reptiles and invertebrates, offering photo opportunities and insights into their unique adaptations. The Aquarium’s rainforest and aquatic exhibits ensure a fun, educational, and engaging experience for people of all ages. Aquarium Exhibit Tours take participants through both upstairs and downstairs exhibits, including the featured dining tank, Tower tank, J tank, and Stingray Reef, highlighting over one hundred species of fish. Programs are limited in capacity to maintain a safe and personal experience, and guests are encouraged to book online in advance. All participants under eighteen must be accompanied by a paid adult, and touching animals is not permitted. Check-in is at the Party Zone entrance, and visitors should arrive early to maximize their time. Food and beverages from outside are not allowed, and the Aquarium is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Programs may be canceled due to animal health or safety concerns, with efforts made to reschedule.
