We will begin with a hotel pick-up for a panoramic tour of Bilbao, including a visit to a traditional fishing village in the surrounding area. This excursion will allow you to explore the town’s maritime heritage, picturesque streets, and local culture, offering a glimpse into the everyday life of the Basque Coast. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy scenic views along the coastline and appreciate the combination of history, architecture, and natural beauty that characterizes the region.

After exploring the fishing village, we will head to the Bizkaia Bridge, the world’s first transporter bridge built with a metal structure. Located at the mouth of the Ibaizabal River, this bridge marks the point where Bilbao’s navigable estuary opened to the sea until the 19th century. The Bizkaia Bridge is a remarkable fusion of two technological innovations: the modern suspended cable bridge engineering developed in the mid-19th century and the use of large mechanical vehicles powered by steam engines. After a guided tour of the bridge, we will return by transfer to the hotel, concluding a full day of cultural and historical exploration.
