As a valued Westcave member, you are invited to two exclusive seasonal events offering a rare chance to experience the preserve like never before. Join us for a crisp fall morning on September 13, 2025, or a beautiful spring evening on April 11, 2026. These special gatherings allow you to explore the stunning landscape of Westcave Preserve at your own pace. This is your opportunity to connect with nature on a deeper level, creating lasting memories during a peaceful, self-guided journey through one of the most beautiful natural treasures in the region. Your adventure begins at the Visitor Center before you set out on the scenic trail. Listen to the sounds of birdsong and flowing water as you wander through vibrant native flora. Make your way down the historic stone steps that lead you into the heart of the canyon. Here, the trail follows Westcave Creek as it winds past towering limestone cliffs, guiding you toward the breathtaking Grotto and cave. Our knowledgeable staff will be stationed along the path and at the Grotto to welcome you and share insights about this incredible ecosystem. Beyond the canyon trail, your access includes The Uplands, where you can enjoy a quiet stroll and spot native birds from our viewing blinds. The fall event offers a chance to gather for morning refreshments before or after your hike, while the spring event provides a perfect setting to relax with evening refreshments. These intimate events are a wonderful way to celebrate the seasons and experience the serene magic of Westcave Preserve with fellow members.
