Each trip accommodates up to six anglers, usually in small groups of one to three, creating a friendly and social atmosphere on board. Departing daily at 6am from Kewalo Basin, this eight-hour adventure gives you plenty of time on the water to enjoy the thrill of fishing while taking in the beauty of the open ocean. At Kewalo Basin, charter companies work together to ensure every guest gets out on the water, so while your trip may be operated by a partner vessel, the experience remains fun and well-organized. To keep things fair and enjoyable, rods are assigned by drawing cards as the boat leaves the harbor, and after each fish is caught, anglers rotate rods clockwise. This system gives everyone an equal chance, especially when one lure is particularly productive.
