Absolutely outstanding. A must for anyone of any ability. What a weekend in our beautiful Northern Ireland. Really easy check-in with Liam, boat was great, as booked, we had an action packed, long-distance itinerary to take in Lusty Beg, Devenish, Enniskillen & Crom all in 2.5 days. Boat was really functional and easy to handle, the Erne Waterways are very well kept and maintained. Everyone must try this.
We have been traveling with this company for several years and always had a wonderful experience. This year was no exception — the trip itself was great, and we enjoyed it very much. However, the condition of the boat could have been better this time. The outside hadn’t been washed, the water hose was missing, some curtains in the cabins were falling off, and the cooktops were not very convenient to use — instead of the original frame, there was a random metal one that didn’t fit properly and wobbled, making cooking a bit unstable. Also, a large soup pot was missing. Overall, we still had a good time and appreciate the service, but a little more attention to these details would make the experience absolutely perfect.

Going again this year,experience of a lifetime great place to book with very helpful and friendly people everything is straight forward and also we wer delighted to be able to bring the wee dog along, on the day we left the place was really busy with everyone either going out on boats and coming back on boats, a restaurant where seems to be local spot but in all the workers all so busy and seemed to have it all under control and very friendly despite the pressure, so thanks again the week we where out the weather was absolutely beautiful cant wait to next year.
If anyone is considering a holiday with Carrickcraft then do it! We've just had one of the best family holidays we’ve ever had. From my first telephone enquiry I found the office staff really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Then in the build up to the trip I found their website and online tips very beneficial and the online tutorials, which our whole family did, were excellent. We have experience with small boat handling but were of course apprehensive about handling a big 36ft shiny white boat, but when we met the staff at the Moorings, they soon had us settled in and feeling comfortable in the boat and handling her. One of teh Carrickcraft team, did our briefing and took us out for our taster session, which again gave us great confidence. He was friendly, professional and was in no rush, he made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything. Their whole team were excellent. We pulled back into the Moorings for a pump out having been in the Lower Lough and on our way to the Upper and again the staff, couldn’t have been more helpful. There was no rush, just 110% brilliant service. They always gave us helpful, friendly and sound advice, and all with humour and a smile. The other person who gave us great guidance was Charlie in the Moorings restaurant - a very friendly man who gave us lots of advice about our journey. The Carrickcraft team were excellent from start to finish. Everyone was helpful, professional but importantly also relaxed, friendly and approachable. We had a very enjoyable week cruising around Lough Erne and over nighted at Carrickreagh, Belleek, Davinish and then with some inclement weather inbound, we spent a couple of nights moored at the Share Centre. We found the solitude and peaceful cruising wonderful. A great break from everyday hectic life. We were often the only people on overnight moorings and found ourselves a number of times with our very own private island! Our children learnt lots of boating skills and had great fun swimming, jumping in the water, fishing, paddle-boarding and visiting sites like Belleek Pottery and Devenish Island. At the Share Centre they loved the pool, banana boat rides and archery amongst other activities. We occasionally met other cruisers both newbies like ourselves and experienced crews and everyone was so helpful and relaxed. The whole experience really was very relaxing, great fun and an amazing way to spend a week with our family. I would highly recommend the experience of cruising around Lough Erne to everyone and the excellent boats, services and team at Carrickcraft.
