A new via ferrata route in Atajate is attracting adventure seekers with an accessible yet exhilarating climbing experience set high above the Valle del Genal in southern Spain. Designed for beginners, the 87-meter course combines natural rock features with installed climbing aids to create a structured and safe ascent.

The route reaches heights of up to 40 meters and includes a variety of aerial challenges such as an extended lead section, a nine-meter monkey bridge, and a 30-meter Tibetan-style suspension bridge. While the course does not demand advanced strength, it requires balance and coordination, particularly when crossing suspended sections.
