Ok, so the trail is pretty, but it's really not that special and the logistics for getting in and out are a serious turnoff. The trail is advertised as about 5 km but between getting to the start point and getting back to the bus stop, you end up walking nearly as much again. I have seen much more dramatic canyon trails elsewhere in Europe, with much easier access.

Well magnificent view and beautiful sunset during the trip. Recommend as tourist to join a trip to visit this place because there is no official entrance for the canyon and the drive way up to the hill is not easy. After 3 hours nonstop walking it really worth it

Stunning view, these ending few hundred meters offer the best sights of the trail. The Caminito del Rey trail can only be started from the North point and ends in the South point. It's only accessible with a general or a guided tour ticket, which can be purchased online (recommend) or at the starting point. The trail is about 2h long, and it ends near this lookout point. Helmets need to be given back somewhat further down.
