South Coast Aventuras invites you to a one of a kind experience in Sierra Bermeja, home to the world’s largest Spanish fir forest on peridotite rock. This unique geological massif offers a breathtaking setting for an immersive hiking adventure. As we traverse this short yet intense route, you will discover the fascinating properties of peridotite and how the local flora, including the rare Pinsapo fir, has adapted to thrive in this distinctive terrain.

Beyond its natural beauty, Sierra Bermeja holds a rich history shaped by human activity. Along the route, we will explore the main tree and shrub species native to the area while also delving into past commercial practices that once thrived in this environment.
