Experience a year-round adventure camp in Halfway Oregon designed for downhill mountain biking enthusiasts and outdoor lovers. During the summer, the camp serves as a basecamp with excellent single track trails in Meadow, Trail, and Clear Creek areas. Shuttle service is provided to Fish Lake at seven thousand feet and pick up is available at Clear Creek SnoPark at four thousand feet. Guests can enjoy car camping with access to spring water and a porta-potty latrine. The property also features accommodations including a twenty foot Pacific Yurt and a thirty two by twelve foot Deluxe PlayHouse cabin, which can be rented overnight for a fee. Plans for a flow trail on the property are in progress to enhance the biking experience. The camp is set to be part of a future trans Wallowas hut to hut route connecting Halfway and Joseph Oregon, providing a unique opportunity to explore the region.
The camp is fully equipped with wood heating, all kitchen accoutrements, a dinner table, bunk beds, a latrine outhouse, and a sauna to ensure comfort during your stay. Porter service is available for transporting gear at a small additional cost. This basecamp provides a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and scenic exploration, making it ideal for groups of up to twelve people. Whether visiting in summer or winter, guests can enjoy biking, hiking, and the natural beauty of the Wallowa Mountains while staying in well-equipped and unique accommodations.
