Old beautiful building, great friendly service and awesome music. Food was good, try the wings. If you want the real pub experience, this is the place. It was quiet when we arrived, but it picked up later and we had a great night. Highly recommended.
The Blue Light Pub is the quintessential Dublin Mountains hideaway. Perched high above the city near Stepaside, it boasts arguably the best panoramic view of Dublin Bay you can find, especially at sunset. Inside, it’s all old-world charm with a cozy turf fire, wooden snugs, and friendly, local atmosphere. It's a proper traditional pub, and absolutely worth the winding drive or hill climb for a truly authentic pint with a spectacular backdrop.
My friend and I dropped by after a run and had such a great time! The food was super tasty and came out really fast. The place was buzzing with locals (and a few of us from the city centre), which gave it such a cool vibe. It even reminded me of the good old days back in Brazil. Definitely a spot I’d love to come back to!
