Mike

Roberto C. was a fantastic guide for our day up to Mt. Etna. He was very knowledgeable about the area, fauna, geology, plants and history. He interacted with all 5 of us in the van and curious about us and our homelands. He was entertaining and fun to be with for the day. I would highly recommend Etna People and Roberto to everyone.

Had a winery tour with Roberto C. He was fantastic, he had a wealth of knowledge about Sicily, Italy and Mt. Etna. He talked about how the History that shaped the region, and talked about the importance of the volcano to the people of Sicily. The winery’s were very different from each other in the best way, the first, Tornatore. Our host talked about the sections of land elevations and the soil in each elevation, and why each step in the process is important for the final product. The second, Emilo Sciacca Etna wine, had an excellent meal paired with the tasting, and the host explained what fermentation process was to each of the varietals and how it changed the chemistry of each of the wines. Over all it was a great time with wine!

We had the best time with Roberto C showing us around. It was a beautiful tour that myself, my son and husband thoroughly enjoyed. What beautiful towns to visit and plenty of information about where some of the Godfather scenes were set. Roberto C was very informative and friendly

We took a tour of Mt. Etna with Tony. The communication with the company was great! They confirmed the pick up location the day prior. Tony was right on time. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the park and the volcano. He was patient with our group to give enough time for a quick drink or restroom break before we got on our off road vehicle to go up Etna. The lunch after was very good as well and the time at the Alcantara Gorge was relaxing. The whole experience was great and we would highly recommend Etna People!

We had a great experience on our Mt Etna small group tour led by Daniele. He was a most excellent driver on the winding roads up the mountain. The tour was well prepared and organized with hiking boots, jackets and poles if needed. Daniele was so knowledgeable about all things related to Mt Etna. Being a biologist, we got extra schooling in the all the various flora and fauna which was a plus. He conveyed all this with a terrific sense of humor that had us laughing and learning at the same time. My Etna is amazing and we could have spent many days there exploring. The lunch afterwards was good and relaxing. Our group of 4 couples were from all parts of the world and we got along fantastic and Daniele did a great job of remembering everyone’s names. Would highly recommend this tour and Daniele as your guide
