USCCA’s Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals Level 3 is the final and most advanced module in this empowering training series, designed specifically for women who are ready to take their defensive skills to the next level. This 2.5-hour class builds on the knowledge and confidence developed in Levels 1 and 2, focusing on real-world defensive scenarios and advanced shooting techniques. Participants will explore critical topics such as avoiding dangerous situations, escaping from or defending against an attacker, and understanding the legal responsibilities associated with the use of force. The course places strong emphasis on decision-making, awareness, and preparedness, helping students develop the mindset needed for everyday personal protection.
During both classroom and range sessions, students will practice advanced skills including drawing from a holster or handbag, shooting while moving, and effectively using cover and concealment. These drills are designed to simulate realistic defensive situations and reinforce safe, confident firearm handling under pressure. Students are expected to bring a pistol (or use a rental), two magazines, a belt and holster, inert training rounds, and 100 rounds of ammunition, along with eye and ear protection. Comfortable, safety-appropriate attire is required, including closed-toed shoes. This advanced module completes the Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals series, preparing participants to carry with confidence, competence, and a clear understanding of both tactical and legal considerations.
