Being in the valley was breathtaking. The staff were very pleasant to work with. We stayed in a heated tent that was a little dusty, but I was glad to have. I wish I could've had my dog stay with me at night. So many people travel with their pets and frankly they're no more trouble than kids. I find most people are very responsible in picking up after them. I was there in November and food vendors had closed for the season, but the store was stocked fairly well. The hiking is fantastic.
Camping feel but with all amenities (washrooms, showers, restaurants) - we took a heated cabin and it clean and exceeded out expectations. The staff are nice and welcoming- clearly explain what we need to know. Recommendation to settle in while there is still light outside and then leave time to see the beautiful sunset! The park shuttle makes it easy to visit other trailhead and viewpoints.
I had a great stay here. No noise issues (I did not come during the busy season although there were still a lot of people). The heater worked great. The beds were great/expected for this type of lodging. There were clean towels, sheets/bedding, blankets provided (although I brought my own). The bathrooms were a short walk away. The shower room was heated and the stalls were private up to the ceiling with their own drains. The pizza place had surprisingly amazing pizza and the other food wasn’t bad either, especially compared to the lodge and a few other places I tried. I would stay here again.
