The best experience. We traveled because my grandson wanted to ride the train, and we made it. Everyone who was with us the entire train ride from Guadalajara to Tequila was very attentive and pleasant. The service was extraordinary. The only point where it could be improved was the food, which was delicious but cold. If they improved that detail, it would be simply wonderful. For everything else, I highly recommend it as a pleasant family experience.
Highly recommend this experience! I did a round trip on a Saturday in April, executive class, and I found the train to be very comfortable and not busy/crowded at all. The train is the way to go if you're going to Tequila - it's super comfortable and scenic, with nice bathrooms and food/drink for purchase. Included in your ticket is the van transfer from the train station to downtown Tequila, as well as pickup in the evening to take you back to the station. Everything was smooth and comfortable, and I'd definitely do it again.
