Gulf Breeze Zoo offers a naturally wild way to spend a full day exploring more than 800 exotic animals across a thirty acre free roaming preserve. Visitors can enjoy unique animal interactions including the petting area, giraffe feeding station, the Budgie Adventure Aviary with hundreds of free flight birds, and even baby alligator feedings depending on the weather. The Safari Line Train provides a comfortable way to explore the zoo while viewing a variety of animals including White rhinoceros, Nile and Pygmy Hippos, a multitude of deer and antelope, and Western lowland gorillas on Gorilla Island. Guests can take their time to explore the different exhibits, observe animals in their habitats, and participate in interactive experiences that provide both education and entertainment for all ages.

The zoo operates daily with varying hours depending on the season, opening from nine AM to five PM during peak months and nine AM to four PM during off peak months, with last admissions one hour before closing. Adventure Passes include general admission and unlimited rides on the Safari Line Train. Military and law enforcement guests receive a fifteen percent discount with valid identification. Visitors are advised to plan several hours to fully experience all the interactive stations, animal feedings, and train rides while enjoying a fun and educational day surrounded by wildlife.
