On one of the Marist Islands is La Nopalera Beach. The water is crystal clear and an intense Caribbean blue! It's only accessible on a tour. I highly recommend "Rivera Mita Tours" at the El Coral restaurant. It's a wonderful experience because, to top it off! Literally! We were lucky enough to see whales 🐋 and their calves on the way there and back. Beautiful places in our country 😍

Look. It is quite a trek, you can only get there with a tour, only 125 are allowed on the island on any day, it is closed two days a week... HOWEVER, if you do get the opportunity to go, seize it! Saw many whales on the way to the island, which could have been a tour on its own, but combined with this, totally worth it. The island is a nature preserve with no dock, so you have to swim to shore, and the swim was short, but not at all easy. Definitely tests your strength as a swimmer, but this was probably one of my favorite experiences on a vacation to date. DO IT!
