Ineke's lessons are very nice and educational, I am a beginner and I felt very comfortable. The projects you get are nice and you can choose everything yourself such as your fabrics and what you like to make. She is a very sweet woman and I will definitely come back after the summer vacation.

When I asked my grandmother for the ten thousandth time if she could sew up a seam for me, I decided it was time to learn it myself. I found a voucher for a workshop at Do-it-yourself Diva's on Groupon, and the following week there was an opening in the community. Both days I attended, there was a wonderfully friendly group of ladies who enjoyed chatting as well as sewing. Owner Ineke was there to help with any questions, and Hakima was there to assist when Ineke was bombarded with questions. Making the pillowcase took four hours. The first part was choosing the fabric and creating the base. The second part consisted of finishing and adding a beautiful finish. A very relaxing way to start. At the end of the day, I left feeling great thanks to the warm welcome, and to top it all off, a homemade pillowcase. Especially for my grandmother (-;
