I did the tote bag course and it was super nice! First time sewing and the people were amazing and very helpful!
Every city needs a great place like this! As a weary traveler with very worn pants and a badly packed suitcase, I was able to finish the half-done pair of pants I had tossed in at the last minute. Someone was (very nicely) helping a small class work on their own projects, meanwhile I got a nice sewing machine, a hot iron, and lots of table space to finish my project. They have sergers too. They have a bit of fabric, a small but well-stocked library, basic notions that you might need to get your project done. A home away from home, in short :-)
lovely experience! in just three hours I was able to learn the basics of sewing and complete my very first project. teachers were super nice and knowledgeable.
