Step into a welcoming Sewing Cafe and begin your journey with the sewing machine in a calm and friendly space. This short lesson is perfect for those who have never used a machine before, as well as anyone who wants a gentle refresher on how everything works. You will learn the essential functions of the machine, from preparing your thread to creating clean and simple stitches that build a strong foundation for your future sewing projects.

If you already own a sewing machine, you are encouraged to bring it along so you can learn how to use it with confidence and care. Guided instruction is available in both Dutch and English, making the session easy to follow for beginners and returning learners. From early next year all workshops and lessons will be held in the warm and creative atmosphere of the new Amsterdam West location.

The coziest place to learn new skills where you are encouraged to repair or create and not buy new. The people working there are so helpful as well and I know ZERO about sewing and they have a ton of patience and tips.

I had the most amazing time learning to sew my first tote bag with Ana. The guidance is clear and easy to follow. I had never touched a sewing machine before but after a crash course from Ana, I felt more confident to operate the machine independently. Will surely be back for a second project.

Took my first sewing class ever yesterday and cannot be happier for choosing I am Nold. After first lesson I, as absolute beginner, managed to put together nice tote back and learn a lot. Guidance provided by Natalie was brilliant and she really helped me make a progress. She was very helpful. Definitely made me motivated to take more classes and progress with my sewing. Also got some recommendation on further progress which is always nice. Like the vibe of the place, there is always nice cup of tea / coffee so looking forward to go back. If you ever wanted to learn how to saw, this is the place.
