Hacienda Doña Engracia invites you to experience a serene horseback ride through the foothills of the mountains, where sweeping views of the countryside and glimpses of village life create a picturesque backdrop. You’ll be paired with a horse that matches your skill level, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride. As you follow the Mascota River, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the landscape, taking in the lush vegetation and tranquil scenery. If river conditions permit, you can even bring your swimsuit and enjoy a short swim with your horse. Your guide will be happy to capture photos with your camera throughout the journey. After the ride, savor a delicious traditional Mexican lunch accompanied by an open bar featuring margaritas, beer, and tequila.

The adventure continues with a guided tequila tasting, where you’ll sample three varieties—Blanco, Añejo, and Reposado—along with three handcrafted liquors produced at the hacienda. You’ll also learn about the tequila-making process, from the agave plants to the final spirit, and discover how to properly taste and identify a quality tequila. Before your return, enjoy some free time to explore the hacienda grounds at your leisure. Please note that during the rainy season, swimming with your horse may not be possible for safety reasons.
