This excursion is perfect for travelers seeking to go beyond the typical vacation experience and truly immerse themselves in culture, adventure, and nature. It’s designed for those who crave meaningful moments—tasting local gastronomy, visiting private homes, swimming in marine–rich waters, horseback riding, or connecting with wildlife in its natural habitat. This tiny Mexican village offers shimmering tropical beauty wrapped in a sense of timelessness. With no cars in sight, donkeys function as cargo carriers, mornings begin with sunshine and roosters, and daily decisions revolve around choosing between snorkeling or taking a peaceful siesta.

If you’re ready to uncover the hidden Yelapa waterfall, this tour will captivate you from start to finish. Wander through a charming fishing village to reach the cascading Cola de Caballo waterfalls, where you can plunge into the refreshing pool or simply admire the surroundings. Explore artisan handicrafts crafted by locals, then relax on Yelapa’s broad beachfront where the river meets the sea, framed by lush green mountains. Whether you choose to hike, snorkel, or unwind on the sand, the natural beauty of these serene tropical getaways will leave you deeply enchanted.

Great little beach for lunch, Mantas coming quite close to shore doing mating dances. I lost my wedding ring there in 4 feet of water. It's a big heavy plain platinum band- sure to make the day of anyone with a metal detector, so good luck!

Beautiful set up, the beach club opens at 2.30pm and close at 10pm. You can access even without a tour, you just have to order a drink or food at the beach club. There is a DJ. No more sun after 5.30 in January. Staff is very nice and not pushy.

Yelapas was awesome. If I could to it again I would go only there as the snorkling in majahuitas you couldn’t really see much. Great staff and fun boat.

Beautiful stop on our snorkel tour on the way to Yelapa. Wear water shoes because the sand is a bit rough on feet. 🫶

Absolutely stunning. The sea was quite rough when we arrived so it was a hop off the boat and swim on to the beach. That wasn't an issue at all. They had refreshments when we got there and we had time to just sit and relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.
