River Expedition

The Cuale Mountain Expedition offers an action-packed day of outdoor adventure, combining six unique experiences into one unforgettable tour in Puerto Vallarta. After a scenic ride into the rural Sierra Madre, you’ll follow the Cuale River to the site of the famous Canopy River adventure. A short hike through the jungle leads to a thrilling zip line ride over a massive gorge, followed by the challenge of crossing two mountain-side bridges. The excitement continues with a 90-foot rappel off a sheer cliff and an 80-foot free fall onto a path, culminating in a zip line that takes you over and into the cool river waters below.

Once the adrenaline-filled activities are complete, you’ll float down the river on an innertube until you meet your mule, which will carry you back to the tour’s starting point. Here, you can relax in hammocks, sunbathe, or enjoy an optional lunch or drinks at the Los Cuapinoles restaurant.
