Christmas Eve Sightseeing Cruise (no meal)

Experience a classic New Orleans tradition as you step aboard an authentic steam-powered sternwheeler for a relaxing, two-hour sightseeing cruise along the Mississippi River. This scenic journey departs from the heart of the French Quarter and features live narration highlighting the city’s rich history, culture, and riverfront landmarks. Before boarding, enjoy a charming live calliope concert, then settle into your choice of indoor or outdoor seating as the Grammy-nominated Dukes of Dixieland fill the air with smooth New Orleans jazz. Although this option does not include a meal, cocktails, wine, and beer are available for purchase, and guests can enhance their evening with an optional Party Package upgrade. During seasonal maintenance of the Steamboat NATCHEZ, its sister vessel—the Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS—provides the same authentic riverboat experience with beautifully renovated decks and sweeping skyline views.

Boarding begins at 6:00 p.m., with cruising scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to have their QR code ready for scanning upon arrival. The cruise operates rain or shine, and entertainment continues even if the vessel is unable to leave the dock. The riverboat is handicap accessible, although the top deck requires stair access, and select decks may be closed during private events. Dressy casual attire is recommended, and while children under six ride free with a paid adult, standard food and beverage charges apply. The vessel is non-smoking throughout, and although gluten-conscious and vegetarian suggestions can be made, separate meals cannot be prepared. Reservations are required for all meal functions, and the company reserves the right to substitute vessels if needed.
