Date Night! Romantic getaway:) great way to see NOLA from a distance. Wonderful way to disconnect and connect with family or friends or partner. Good was good. Staff was on point, restrooms were clean, whole place was clean. Neat boat facts ;) lol

First off, they ask you to arrive 30 minutes before departure. Fine. But when we got there, they blasted this obnoxious, painfully loud music on repeat every two minutes. It was so deafening I had to put in my concert earbuds just to survive it. If you’re going to make people wait in the heat and direct sun, the least you could do is NOT blast noise that makes people’s teeth ache. Once on the boat, it didn’t get better right away. The music inside was cranked up way too loud, and then the speakers went all static for a good 2–3 minutes while they messed around trying to fix it. I had to literally move to a spot with no speakers just to escape the noise—and I’m 65% deaf. If it’s that loud for me, a person with normal hearing would’ve been miserable. Now, for the positives: the band itself was actually really good, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the commentary during the cruise was lovely. We didn’t do dinner, just the ride, and I don’t regret that choice. So, overall: not terrible, but definitely not thoughtful when it came to sound and comfort. If you’re sensitive to loud noise, bring earplugs—you’ll need them.

The jazz music was great! The brunch was decent - I would compare it to a free breakfast at a hotel. The gumbo was not good and tasted like Dinty Moore canned stew to me. For the $80 price of the boat with brunch ticket, you would think the food would be awesome. The chairs on deck of the boat were not comfortable. The tour guide was not the best - he had an odd cadence to his words and didn’t always specify whether things were on your left or right. Also, there wasn’t a whole lot to see along the river. But it was an experience, just not worth the price.

I love this boat, the food and tea are great and its a nice comfy and casual ride up and down the river. I prefer this boat over the Creole Queen down the river. I haven't been on the Natchez yet, but seeing as how that boat and this boat are operated by the same group, I can't see how either one would be better over the other. And the live music is a nice touch.

The boat ride was quite pleasing and a joy to experience. The food, the live jazz, the slow cruise, the tour guide, and the sites throughout our travels were splendid. I want to highlight one employee in particular. Angelica (Jelly) sold pics during the City of New Orleans boat ride- checked on me after nausea so very sweet. I was so impressed with this young lady. I know her main priority is to sale the boat pictures but her level of concern for passengers exceeded my expectation. I usually get super sick with any type of boat ride (ferry, sailboat, cruise boat, cruise and etc. So, I had put my ear patch on, but it made me a little nauseated and when I ate the boat food it did not sit well with my tummy. Anyway, as Jelly approached me, before trying to sell the pictures she took one look at me and she could tell something was wrong. She spent some time taking to me until I told her I was ok, then I purchased the pictures and thanked her for her kindness. What she did next blew me away……it was perhaps thirty minutes later when my friend was in the gift shop purchasing some items and I was waiting in the hallway. As Jelly passed me by, she paused and said how are you feeling now. I told her much better…she smiled big and said she was so happy to hear that. That level of customer service is unmatched. Thank you, Jelly, for your big heart. You are definitely deserving of a raise, a spot bonus and/or employee of the month. Thanks again.

Harris and Stacey were a fantastic duo! With Harris telling the history of New Orleans, and Stacey knowing exactly when to slow down for photo ops, the City Tour was an amazing experience. The cruise was peaceful and a great way to end the tour.

The cruise and bus tours was the best part of my time in New Orleans and if I ever came back again you bet I coming on for another joyful time. From their drinks to the live band and not forgetting the historic lessons that came along was all magnificent! Love love love the Natchez cruise combo. If anyone is having second thoughts please take word for it and give them a try. You won’t regret it!!!

awesome day trip! The cruise was really fun, there was a jazz band on the ship and food / drinks / giftshop available too. There was also some historical information explained by the captain about the Mississippi river and the various buildings we passed by. Then the city tour was really great! Our guide Jane, was really interesting and fun too. As she is a local from NOLA she gave us not only knowledge about the city but also some very personal stories and it made the whole tour very personal and enriching too. Really and amazing day :) I recommand it!

My mom and I had a wonderful time. Everything went as expected. I suppose it would have been nice to know that most of the tour guide announcements were about things mostly on one side of the boat. But we appreciated the more quiet return trip. Thank you for enhancing our first trip to New Orleans.
