Aside from the fact that I drove them crazy the night of the 1hr Wing trying on harness and vest combinations to the point of insanity, and they were kind, helpful, and above all practical with their advice... Aside from the fact that I showed up at the store after they'd already closed the register and reopened it on purpose... Ion Rush harness... Exceptional, but one of the key harness hooks broke. Message via WhatsApp and 7 days later, the two hooks arrived (1 + spare) directly from ION Italy. They're superb. 5 stars for customer service, and 5 for in-store service.

Unfortunately, my experience with this shop was extremely negative, especially regarding the warranty. After just four months, my wingboard broke in half while using it. I would have expected a manufacturing defect like this to be covered under the warranty, but instead I was denied any assistance. Even worse, I discovered, from talking to other surfers in the area, that this isn't an isolated incident. The shop seems to have a very restrictive warranty policy and often doesn't cover product defects, not just for wingboards, but also for wetsuits and other items. Given the frequency with which these problems occur and the shop's unwillingness to resolve them, I strongly advise against purchasing from this shop unless you want to risk wasting your money.

A good shop isn't one that just sells cool stuff, but one that deals with problems in a straightforward and competent manner. Perfect and quick (one-day) warranty processing. That's exactly what this shop is. I've bought countless sails, masts, surfboards, and wing stuff. The prices are always fair, and there's often the option of an exchange. It was the second time within the last 4 years I bought a windsurfing harness at Surf Planet Torbole. The first time I had bought an improver model, this time I was looking for one for advanced use. The sales advice was excellent again. Fabio took a lot of time to advise me in the best way possible. I was there two times for almost 45 minutes each visit before making the buying decision. The staff of Surf Planet consists of experienced water sports enthusiasts and instructors, so their competence about the equipment is also very high. After using the harness for some days now, I can record the fact that Fabio has chosen the best possible harness for me, both regarding the model and the size. I am very satisfied not to have purchased a harness in any online shop missing out the helpful ideas of Surf Planet’s staff. Grazie mille!
