If you’re looking for a totally unforgettable way to explore Vancouver, the Aquabus is it! From the moment you step on board, it’s pure fun! The vibe is cheerful, the boats are colourful, and cute, and the views of False Creek are absolutely stunning. Every little corner of the ride feels like a new adventure, from quirky floating homes to glistening city skylines reflecting in the water. We were lucky enough to spot some seals popping up alongside the boat, which honestly made everyone squeal with delight. The staff on board are amazing too! So friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping you have the best time. It feels like a mix between a sightseeing tour, a mini adventure, and a little escape from the hustle of the city. Whether you’re a local looking for a fun day out, a tourist trying to see the city from a new angle, or just someone who loves water and good vibes, this is an absolute must-do. We left with huge smiles, plenty of laughs, and already planning our next ride! Aquabus really knows how to turn a simple ferry ride into a full-on experience!!!

Cute little way to see the Vancouver waterfront from a different vantage point. Easy on and off. Note that the ships have a pretty low capacity and they all seem to be a bit different, but if you (and your stroller, etc.) aren't able to get on one, the next will be along in just a few minutes.

The Aquabus in Vancouver is a fun and convenient way to get around False Creek. The boats are colorful, clean, and well maintained, and the service is friendly and efficient. Is great for sightseeing and enjoying unique views of the city from the water.

A deeply upsetting experience that felt discriminatory toward my family while we were waiting for the Aquabus at David Lam Park on September 26, 2025, around 11:10 a.m. At the dock, it was just my family and a couple waiting. When the boat arrived, there were two staff members onboard — a young male staff member with dark hair, wearing a beanie or hat, glasses, and facial hair, and a young female staff member inside — along with one passenger. The male staff member opened the safety gate and greeted only the couple, asking where they were headed. He let the passenger off, radioed for another boat, and told the couple to wait for the next one. Then, without a single word to us, he simply took off — leaving us standing there, completely ignored. Even though we were standing closer, he didn’t even look in our direction. It felt deliberate, as if he was going out of his way to ignore us — treating us as if we were invisible. We had been looking forward to this part of our trip and were genuinely excited to use the Aquabus. Instead, we were left feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply hurt. This was not just a disappointing experience — it felt discriminatory. I usually don’t write reviews, but this incident was so upsetting that I feel compelled to share it. It raises serious questions: is this an isolated case of one employee’s behavior, or does it point to a larger issue with staff training and company culture? How can an employee at a tourist attraction in such a kind and beautiful city behave this way? This should never happen. I sincerely hope Aquabus takes this matter seriously and ensures all visitors are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
