Gabby

I visited Roe & Co Distillery in Dublin with my partner, and we were incredibly lucky to have Tim as our guide. He was absolutely fantastic—passionate, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. His love for the job shone through the entire tour, and he made the history of the distillery and the craft of whiskey-making genuinely exciting. My partner is the true whiskey fan between us, and this experience made him so happy—he was literally beaming the whole time. I’m not usually into whiskey, but thanks to Tim’s explanations and energy, I walked out with a real appreciation for the flavours and the process behind it. Tim also went above and beyond by taking an incredible movie-like shot of us, along with a beautiful photo we’ll definitely treasure. If you’re visiting Dublin and want a tour that’s fun, engaging, and full of amazing stories, I can’t recommend Roe & Co (and especially Tim!) enough. Thank you Tim from both me and my partner!

What a fantastic experience at this distillery! We enjoyed our experience with Isaac who gave us a tour and did the cocktail making session. We had so much fun and highly recommend this experience! Even their whiskey is delicious.
Midas

Had a great experience doing the tour & tasting, which was both informative and interesting, as well as an interactive experience. Tim's quick wits and his passionate storytelling really made this a great experience. Definitely also take the time to drink one of their signature cocktails in the adjacent bar!

We had a terrific experience doing some whiskey tasting at the distillery. Roe & Co is part of the Diageo/Guinness family and this location is right across the street from the Guinness Open Gate Brewery tasting room. The funny thing is, this distillery opens before the brewery, and it was because we were a little early, we ended up going to Roe & Co first. We are glad we did! They have a good and interesting range for tasting including not just Irish whiskey so you can make a comparison between styles around the world. Visit the washroom and the gift shop. Both are interesting and have unique items like a choose and fill your own bottle.

Where whiskey meets artistry—and hospitality shines Roe & Co Distillery is more than a stop on Dublin’s whiskey trail—it’s a spirited celebration of flavor, creativity, and connection. Nestled in the heart of the Liberties, this beautifully reimagined former Guinness power station pulses with energy, inviting guests into a world where tradition meets innovation. From the moment we arrived, the staff were phenomenal—welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and their ability to tailor the experience to each guest made the tour feel personal and memorable. The journey begins with a deep dive into the art of distilling and blending, where you learn not just how whiskey is made, but why each step matters. The storytelling is rich, the visuals are striking, and the pacing is perfect—never rushed, always engaging. But the real magic happens in the cocktail workshop, where expert bartenders guide you through a hands-on experience that’s equal parts education and indulgence. You explore the five flavor profiles—sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and umami—and craft a cocktail that suits your unique palate. It’s interactive, playful, and surprisingly enlightening. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or a curious novice, you’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for balance and creativity in mixology. The setting itself is stunning—industrial chic meets Irish warmth. Every detail, from the copper stills to the ambient lighting, adds to the immersive feel. And the Power House Bar at the end? The perfect place to sip, savor, and reflect. Roe & Co isn’t just a distillery—it’s a masterclass in hospitality and flavor. If you’re in Dublin and want an experience that’s equal parts fun, flavorful, and expertly guided, this is the place to be.
