So cool!! The way up is steep but not long. My knees did hurt by the end of the hike though. Not too many people on a Saturday afternoon in January. The whole lottery deal is a little bit of a hassle but it worked out good. We had a group of 9, so 4 people entered the lottery for 5 tickets and two of us drew out so it worked out perfect.

Amazing! Definitely make sure you enter the lottery for a permit and if you have multiple people in your party, have everyone enter. We just entered once and didn’t get it for the only day we could go. We ended up hiking up to scouts overlook and to the west rim and on our way down a group of girls asked if we had permits because they had 2 people from their group drop out. It was seriously a gift! Also, just a warning. There are little cacti around the area that have tiny spines and if you lay your backpack on, you’ll spend a long time pulling them out individually🙃 I’m still finding them now and they hurt when they go into your skin

Angel’s Landing Trail in Zion National Park was absolutely wonderful! The views were breathtaking from every angle — truly some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. There’s one section that’s a little daring, with narrow paths and drop-offs, but it wasn’t too bad if you take your time and stay focused. I finished the hike in probably less than two hours, though I could definitely see how it might take longer for others depending on pace and photo breaks. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience and one I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Zion!
