We really enjoyed our music walk with Dolores in September. The music history of Belfast is so wide and varied so there was a lot to cover and Dolores was very knowledgeable and added in her own personal experiences as well. We stopped for a drink at the Oh Yeah centre and had a performance from Conn Thornton... Conn - we've already downloaded you from Spotify.. Very VERY cool Music Walking Tour around Belfast. Dolores is *THE* most fascinating source of EVERY interesting story about the rich, deep, and occasionally somewhat quirky history of the music in this city. She knows *everyone* in "the scene" and has done it all in music in this town ... BRAVO ... **HIGHLY** recommended!
As a music fan of a certain age coming from Nashville (70) who loves the history and excitement of punk, rock and roll, and R and B this tour was made for me. Delores tailored our private walking tour to include her extensive commentary on history of Belfast’s music scene accompanied a playlist chosen to include a bits and pieces about a favorite artist Van Morrison. She bought us to different important venues and recording studios including the Ohyeah music Centre and an old church called First Presbyterian Rosemary Street with perfect acoustics where all kinds of people perform. Delores knows the music community and they know her. We enjoyed a pint at the city’s oldest pub , Kelly’s . This will always be a special part of our wonderful trip.
