Seeing the Alhambra is a truly unparalleled experience, and having a knowledgeable guide can bring its history and beauty to life. This tour offers an official guide who will reveal the art, history, and secrets of the Alhambra, providing context that enriches your visit. Upon arrival in Granada, you will have some free time to explore the city center or enjoy a coffee, as the guide will accompany you only during the Alhambra portion of the tour.
During the guided tour, you will explore the Alcazaba, the Generalife, and the Palace of Charles V. The Alcazaba, the oldest part of the Alhambra, is a fortress with impressive defensive walls and towers, offering spectacular panoramic views of Granada. The Generalife, the former summer palace of Muslim rulers, features lush gardens, tranquil courtyards, and fragrant pathways perfect for a leisurely stroll. The Renaissance-style Palace of Charles V houses the Alhambra Museum, showcasing a collection of art and historical artifacts. Please note that this tour does not include entry to the Nasrid Palaces, one of the Alhambra's most famous attractions, but you will still enjoy a rich and informative experience of the complex. All tickets are nominative, and visitors must carry the ID or passport used for the reservation.

Tony

This tour should not been taken by anyone who is not in pretty good physical condition as there are a LOT of steps and lots of walking. That said, this two part tour was brilliant. Both guides we had were friendly and very knowledgeable and made the tours interesting. We took the bus (C32) from the Isabel la catolica stop and got it back to the same stop. You can walk but we were so tired after the tour we decided not to. Definitely a tour we would recommend.

Granada and Alhambra is a stunning piece of Spain’s history, our guide Luis was a wealth of knowledge. He took us through a journey in time of this palace/fortress/city and water source - Alhambra’s lifecycle with its gardens is magical. Thanks Luis!

Cynthia was very informative. We really enjoyed the tour. I was with my two daughters and they have lots of questions and she was answering them. She is really excellent and she has lots of historical information that was unique.

Patrizia was very informative. Know her history well. She's very friendly and her English is quite good. Besides giving us history lessons and stories, she also offered tips and places to go for food and scenery. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable tour. Love to do it with her on another tour.
