Our most highly recommended experience for those seeking maximum adventure and value, this 1-hour rugged Jeep tour showcases two of Zion’s most iconic landmarks in one unforgettable journey. Your adventure begins as we navigate through a serene pine forest, gradually ascending toward a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking Checkerboard Mesa. The scenery shifts dramatically as the landscape opens up, offering panoramic vistas that highlight the unique geological patterns and vast beauty of the region.
From there, the tour continues with a thrilling descent of several hundred feet into the remote terrain of Jolly Gulch. Here, you’ll have the chance to take a short, unguided two-minute walk to a remarkable top-down viewpoint of the Jolly Gulch slot canyon, plunging 200 feet into its narrow sandstone walls. After taking in the views, we make the climb back out, crossing the riverbed multiple times as we work our way across the rugged terrain and return to the top of the Ponderosa plateau, completing a scenic and adventure-filled loop back home.

Fun, we laughed a lot, got bounced around. our guide was great. he had stories and information that was interesting. He kept saying I haven't rolled the jeep in a week. I think he was teasing. The overlook at the canyon was great.

The tour guide was very friendly and took us along roads that are not accessible to private vehicles. Excellent views. It's over too soon!

Our tour guide Mark was awesome! He was so knowledgeable & interesting! Highly recommend. We accidentally arrived way too early for our scheduled tour & they were kind enough to rebook us to an earlier time.

We took the 2-hour slot canyon tour with our family last week. The guides were patient and educational. There was a bit of scrambling over boulders but nothing too difficult for most people. The experience was fantastic--highly recommend!

We were incredibly excited for the jeep and repelling tour that we had scheduled. When we arrived in Zion, there was much more snow then had been expected or that the area had received in a very long time. That being said our tour was cancelled as the roads were still closed due to the snow. We understand that things like this happen, especially when the weather is not predictable, however we were notified of the cancelation 10 minutes before we were to be picked up. I really wish we could have gone on the tour, but mostly I wish there was better communication so we could have planned accordingly.
