Tye was a brilliant instructor for a family private lesson in Lorne. We were beginner-intermediate surfers and Tye helped us improve over the course of the day. Highly recommended! We learned about surf safety, ocean science, surfing techniques and suggestions for equipment. Conditions weren’t perfect (onshore winds, low tide!) but Tye went the extra mile to ensure we were able to surf some nice waves and improved our technique.
Core Memory Created! Booked a private session for a family with 2 kids (10,13) to try to catch some waves in Lorne. We were beyond lucky as we got an incredible instructor who made the experience so much fun. OA was phenomenal with us and made the experience memorable. She moved seamlessly in the water between helping the kids get up and even us adults. The kids really took to her and trusted her, which was very important considering the youngest wasn't the strongest swimmer and was worried about sharks! OA took the time to calm their nerves and talk about their concerns and most importantly safety out there (which I really appreciated). In the water, the kids were screaming with joy as she rocketed them up over the waves and then taxied them on the back to stabilize them and get them to catch waves. I will never forget the smile on the youngest's face as she rode her last wave in and OA cheering in the background. What an incredible memory. Thank you OA, you were a privilege and a beautiful soul to have as a part of our family vacation memory
