We have done six tours across three separate trips to Charleston. The great thing about it is that no two tours are ever the same. Each guide has their own style, personality, and personal stories that add to the tour. This last time we toured the Provost Dungeon with Sarah (she called herself Mo) and it was excellent. You could feel her personal experiences with the entity known as the spectre coming to bear. I highly recommend this company, and doing multiple tours with them. Or even the same tour with different guides for a truly unique experience.

The weather was perfect to enjoy a stroll through Charleston while catching a history/ghost tour. Grace was very friendly, upbeat, and knowledgable. It was a perfect size little group. I really enjoyed the dungeon and the fact that part of the original wall was still intact!

I had a wonderful time on their Food tour. The food was outstanding — the shrimp & grits were a real highlight, and the she-crab soup was the best I’ve tasted anywhere in the Lowcountry. Andrew, our guide, brought everything to life with his stories, local insights, and easy sense of humor. He created such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that people naturally started chatting, connecting, and even exchanging cards by the end. It felt like the perfect balance of great food, interesting history, and genuinely good company. And also a shout-out to Grace from the Ghost Tour: her storytelling was brilliant — strong voice, sharp timing, and a way of building tension that pulled everyone in. A masterclass in how to guide a ghost tour. Both experiences made my Charleston visit truly memorable. Thabk you to the whole Bulldog team!

We did the VIP Ghost Tour with Dave who was EXCELLENT. Such a great story teller, and shared a ton of interesting information about Charleston. He made the 2 hour experience super fun (and spooky), and gave us great insight into the various locations we visited.

We did the walking history tour with Bulldog Tours and really enjoyed it! Our guide, Keith, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging — I walked away having learned so much about Charleston that I didn’t know before. The value for the quality was excellent, and out of all the tours I took during my trip, this one was definitely the best! If I had more time in the city, I would definitely be doing additional tours with this company.
