The one hour meet and greet experience at Silverton Outback Camels is perfect for families and children who want to interact with a variety of friendly farm animals. Visitors can meet camels, sheep, goats, emus, donkeys, red deer, alpacas, ostriches, pigs, peacocks, geese, chooks, ducks, guinea fowl, and more. This hands on experience allows guests to learn about the animals, feed them, and enjoy close encounters in a safe and welcoming environment. It provides a fun and educational opportunity for children to connect with animals and experience life on an outback farm.

Silverton Outback Camels is a small family business dedicated to preserving the long tradition of camels and other animals in the historic town of Silverton. Camels have been part of the region since the 1880s, and the farm continues to share the history of pioneering cameleer families while caring for their animals. Some of the camels have been featured in Australian Geographic and documentaries, highlighting their significance to the outback heritage. Located 20 minutes from Broken Hill at 1939 Silverton Road, the farm offers a unique and memorable experience for families, combining education, history, and the joy of meeting a wide variety of friendly animals in the beautiful outback setting.
