Morning Koala Encounter Offers Rare Close-Up Wildlife Experience with Keeper Guidance
Visitors are invited to experience a special early-morning koala encounter, offering a rare chance to see these iconic animals awake and active during their feeding time. With exclusive early access to the park, guests step quietly into the koala habitat alongside experienced keepers as fresh gum leaves are prepared.
During the guided session, visitors learn about koala behaviour, diet, and the conservation challenges facing the species in the wild. Keepers share detailed insights into each koala’s personality and natural habits, helping guests gain a deeper appreciation of their calm and gentle nature. Under supervision, there may also be opportunities for close observation and gentle interaction.
As the koalas move through their natural environment, guests can observe their behaviours up close and capture photographs, creating lasting memories of the experience. The encounter may also include meeting wallabies that share the habitat, adding an extra highlight to the morning visit.
To complete the experience, guests receive a warm drink and scone voucher to enjoy at the park bistro. This relaxed conclusion provides time to reflect on the encounter, making it a meaningful wildlife experience that combines education, conservation awareness, and personal connection with Australia’s native animals.

LOVED THIS PLACE! It was so cool to visit. You can see a lot of animals from this region. It’s like a zoo. You were able to feed the kangaroos and goats. I felt bad for the goats because they were neglected compared to the kangaroos as I personally would prefer to feed the kangaroos instead too, but I wanted to give some to the goats as well. It was so cool and fun to feed the kangaroos and they came up to you and ate the food out of your hands. There are also animal shows and you can see the koala bears. They let you get close to the koala bears, but you are not allowed to touch them per the Australia laws. There is also other showings of other animals and a café to eat at if you are hungry. The staff were nice and I was able to get there cheap with public transportation from Bondi Beach. I would definitely go again if I ever got back down to Sydney as it was a very fun experience and as someone said the place is underrated. You can’t expect it to be a nice big zoo and extremely organized, but the price that you pay is worth it if you want to feed the kangaroos and see koala bears and more. I’m so happy that I found this place on the Internet and went to it as it was an experience that I will never forget.

Amazing place that is extremely underrated. We had a wonderful time feeding the kangaroos, going for a walk with a dingo and taking photos standing next to the koalas. The grounds are neatly kept and the animals well taken care of. Would recommend to anyone showing overseas guests around who would like to have an up close and personal experience with Ausie animals.

Well worth the time to get here, great variety of animals, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Attended the Koala talk which was a great opportunity to get closer to them. You can feed the kangaroos too which was very worth it. Cafe food was nice. Would definitely recommend.
