Started 10min late, came back 20min early, so we payed for 3h but only got 2,5h. No stop for swimming. Only setted 1 Sail for 5 minutes. Crew seemed disinterested, and gave no further informationen during the trip. Has so much more potentential. Ship itself was cool though.

Review from a 9 year old "It was a really fun experience and it wasn't too bumpy. The historical accuracy was not as good, but it was definitely fun ride with everything you need for 3 hours including bar and toilets. The swimming was safe and fun and it was enjoyable"

Forget the new catamarines and fancy glassbifer yachts. Hop on a real wood ship and sip on rum, look at the coastal of Madeira. Maybe you will see Dolphins and whales?

The ship is absolutely stunning—a beautifully crafted historical replica—but the trip itself is mind-numbingly boring and completely overpriced. There was a very brief welcome, and at two or three points during the trip, a crew member quickly mentioned what we were seeing, but it felt forced and was over in seconds. After that, nothing: no guide, no music, no meaningful commentary, and almost zero interaction from the crew. At one point they served a small glass of Madeira wine and a slice of cake—that was the highlight. We were supposed to see dolphins and whales, but saw none, and the crew gave no help spotting them. The boat stopped for swimming; a few people got in, but only for about 10 minutes. Most of us were too bored to care. On the way back, I was so sleepy I actually fell asleep. It felt like being stuck in a beautiful but lifeless floating shell. At €40 per person, it’s just not worth it. Skip this trip unless you’re only here to admire the boat and take a nap.

Imagine stepping into the past and travelling on the ship that Columbus used to discover the new world. That's where it's at. 🥹 This trip was so much fun. It's like a floating museum. The ship is an exact replica built from mahogany. I thought it was going to be a modern plastic fiber glass copy with new materials, but it's a very faithful replica crafted painstakingly using the correct method and materials of the time. You can find out more on the website and the construction. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are a fan of pirates of the Caribbean you can't pass this experience up. It's so much fun. The kids enjoyed it too. It's got spirit and feeling compared to a catamaran. It feels special. There is a bar and shade and two very clean toilets. The boat stops halfway through and you can swim. It's a lovely trip. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.
