Piotr

I bought tickets through GetYourGuide for 11 a.m., and the place I was supposed to pick up my ticket was the intermediary. As it turned out, the tickets were for 12:45 p.m., as the lady verifying the Colosseum tickets told us. Of course, this really disrupted our day. The office staff gave us some ridiculous explanations, but they were nice and did what they could. Overall, I don't recommend it.

We booked the Rome Colosseum Tour ahead, and it was worth every minute. The skip-the-line access saved us so much time, especially with the long queues and heat in the summer. Our guide was truly knowledgeable. We even got access to restricted areas we wouldn't have seen on a regular ticket. The best way to experience this iconic site. Highly recommend this guided tour for anyone visiting Rome!

Excellent experience, we went in December, not many people around ,perfect. Remember to book before you go as the ticket office is closed, and it's quite hard to get onto the internet to book once you are there.
