Step back in time and uncover the grandeur of ancient Rome with a visit to the legendary Colosseum, the world’s largest amphitheatre and one of the greatest architectural achievements in history. As you stand before its massive stone arches, imagine the roar of the crowds that once filled its seats during gladiatorial contests and public spectacles. Inside, the Colosseum reveals its remarkable design and purpose, divided into multiple sections that once accommodated over fifty thousand spectators. Each level tells a story of Rome’s power, culture, and engineering brilliance, offering an extraordinary glimpse into the life and entertainment of the ancient empire.
Your journey does not end there. All Colosseum tickets also grant access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, two of the most significant sites in ancient Rome. Wander through the ruins of temples, basilicas, and triumphal arches that once formed the heart of Roman political and social life. From the Palatine Hill, admire breathtaking views of the Forum and imagine emperors walking these very grounds. Because this historic landmark attracts countless visitors daily, it is best experienced with pre-booked entry to avoid long waits and make the most of your time exploring. A visit to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill is more than just a tour—it is a journey through the soul of ancient Rome, where every stone whispers a story of glory, ambition, and legacy.

City interesting place, highly recommended! Bring a lot of water and stay hydrated!

You and your group must all physically be here to purchase tickets and present your passport. At no point neither on the website nor at the ticket booth is it stated that a passport is required except the man says so. I really hope they start telling people beforehand that passports are required.

A great little hack for visiting the Colosseum! If you’re planning to visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, buy your ticket here at Biglietteria Foro Romano instead of the main booth in front of the Colosseum. This spot is located just a 5-minute walk away, on Via della Salara Vecchia, and the line here is always much shorter, even though they sell the same exact ticket. Your ticket gives you: • Entry to the Colosseum at a specific time slot • And 24-hour access to the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill I’ve used this ticket office many times, and it always saves me time. Most tourists don’t know about this location it’s like a secret shortcut! Highly recommend it if you want to skip the long lines at the Colosseum and have a smoother start to your visit.

Bought tickets online, as suggested. Same day, closed with no indication that it would be, but happy to take our money!😭

To order tickets in regular days or get free tickets on the first Sunday of each month, it’s advised to come here rather than the place near Colosseo as it usually has fewer people.
