Booked a 8pm cruise that comes with a drink and audio guide. Cosy warm cabin, clean and comfortable on a chilly night. Deck 2 offered unblocked views but was cold. The audio visual commentary guide was informative and engaging. Staff was friendly and helpful.enjoyed my ride cruising down Danube with them.
I chose Legenda cruises for my partner's birthday and it was a brilliant choice. I booked the tickets via Viator with a 7pm departure from Dock 7. The cruise included a 4 course meal, with complimentary drink on arrival. You can order wine, spirits and beer from the bar, all reasonably priced. The crew were amazing and the scenery even better. We'll worth the price and the experience if you want to experience the Danube riverfront by night. Thank you for a memorable night.
We took the 9 PM boat tour on the Danube and absolutely loved it. We brought our dog with us and were really happy that this was no issue at all — the staff were very friendly, welcoming and relaxed about having a dog on board. Right from the start, everything felt well organized. The tour includes one complimentary drink and an audio guide, which adds some interesting background information about the sights along the way. The whole trip lasts around an hour, and during that time the boat goes up and down the Danube, passing many of Budapest’s most impressive landmarks. What made it truly special was the timing. I would definitely recommend choosing an evening tour when it’s already dark. The buildings along the river — like the Parliament, the Castle and the bridges — are beautifully illuminated at night, and the reflections on the water create a really stunning atmosphere. It felt peaceful but still full of life, and the views were unforgettable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting Budapest, an evening boat tour on the Danube is a must!
We took a night cruise with Legenda. I travel with a wheelchair and they were very accommodating in helping me get on/off the boat. It was certainly worth doing. We chose not to listen to the audio guide and to just focus on being there together in the midst of incredibly memorable sights. With the boat traveling both ways down the river, it allowed everyone on both sides of the boat to get great views. It’s certainly best experienced at night!!
On a warm 26°C day, there was no better way to spend the afternoon than boarding an open-top boat and sailing down the Danube. Both banks of the river are immersed in history, and the cruise offered a front-row view of it all. We glided under elegant bridges, past the imposing Castle, limestone cliffs, historic churches, and of course, the mix of modern architecture that now lines the waterfront. The journey was guided by an informative audio system available in a wide variety of languages, making it easy for everyone on board to follow along. The crew added to the experience with their warm hospitality, serving complimentary drinks with a smile. In just 1.5 hours, the time flew by, leaving us with a gallery of unforgettable vistas of this beautiful city, steeped in centuries of history. It was the perfect way to appreciate both the grandeur and charm of the Danube and the city it embraces.
