The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course teaches you how and when to deliver emergency oxygen in a dive-related incident. You’ll learn to recognise scuba diving injuries and water-related conditions that require oxygen administration, making this course valuable for divers, boat crews, lifeguards, freedivers, mermaids, or anyone who spends time near the water. With no age limits and no water sessions required, it offers an accessible way to gain essential emergency-response skills.

Your practical training includes assembling and disassembling oxygen equipment for fast deployment, using a non-rebreather mask and demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver, and attaching a rescue breathing mask for resuscitating a non-breathing diver. You’ll also learn how to identify situations where oxygen is needed and how to offer aid if decompression sickness is suspected. The course has no prerequisites and requires only one day to complete, making it ideal for anyone who wants to be prepared to help others.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Oxycare for medical hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The medical center is top-notch, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and the staff are incredibly professional and compassionate. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. My referring consultant was very happy with my outcome from the treatment. I highly recommend Oxycare to anyone considering medical hyperbaric oxygen therapy it their consultant feels it may be of benefit to them Truly a great medical center!

I had necrosis, chronic pain, was extremely ill and bed bound, also unable to sit or walk far after my cancer treatment. I really thought I would never improve. After my hyperbaric my pain had eased enough for me to stop all painkillers my necrosis had reduced and I was able to go walking again. All the staff are very accommodating, friendly and professional your really looked after and put at ease. I would definitely recommend you give it a try and see the results for yourself.

Oxycare provided my father Tommy Buckley with the most incredible care. He has been going through chemotherapy treatment for liver metastasis. After chemotherapy he had lost a considerable amount of weight, he was faint and had very little energy. After the first 5 sessions at Oxycare we began to see a noticeable change, the main benefit being his increased energy levels. After about the 10th session his complexion looked better and he began to look like himself again. When he fished the treatment ( 20 sessions in total) the difference was really extraordinary. He felt revived, energetic and healthy. The team at Oxycare went above and beyond to make my dad feel as comfortable as possible. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience with Linda, Declan, Gerry and the entire team at Oxycare. The care shown to patients was outstanding. I did 20 sessions in their chamber as part of the management of sudden sensorineural hearing loss. I was extremely well cared for and relieved to be able to access medically supervised hyperbaric oxygen treatment in an internationally accredited facility. This care should be easily accessible for all patients with conditions for which HBOT is recommended by international clinical guidelines. This can be a life changing evidence based treatment for patients with a range of conditions including crush injuries, side effects of radiation treatment, non- healing wounds/tissue/bone infections, retinal artery occlusion and sudden deafness. I hope that the Irish health system ensures that clear referral pathways are in place so that all patients that might benefit get timely access.
