PADI Rescue Diver Course: Building Confidence, Control, and Preparedness

The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop a diver’s confidence, awareness, and ability to respond calmly in challenging situations. It focuses on learning how to recognise, prevent, and manage problems both underwater and at the surface, strengthening overall safety skills and situational awareness.

Widely regarded as one of the most rewarding stages of diver training, the course challenges participants to expand their skills while building the competence needed to assist others. Scenario-based exercises form a key part of the program, helping divers apply knowledge in realistic, controlled situations that reflect potential real-world incidents.

Training is delivered through a combination of confined water sessions, shore-based practice, and boat dives, ensuring exposure to a variety of diving environments. A double boat dive component is included to simulate practical rescue scenarios, supported by structured instruction and close supervision.

With small groups limited to six participants, divers receive focused guidance from experienced staff throughout the course. Supported by online learning completed at their own pace, the program is well suited to those looking to become more capable, confident, and prepared for emergency situations in the water.
