Venture into the heart of the Sunshine Coast on a 55km River Safari that showcases the true beauty and diversity of the Maroochy River. Beginning at our office along the tranquil inside of Chambers Island, the journey starts with a few relaxed laps of our circuit to help you get comfortable with your jet ski. From there, we head downstream past Twin Waters toward the river mouth, where pristine riverfront beaches and sandbars provide the perfect spots to pause and take in the wide coastal views.

The river becomes increasingly secluded as we pass Coolum Creek, gliding through mangrove forests teeming with life—from fish jumping beneath the surface to birds like ospreys, herons, and sea eagles soaring above. The landscape opens up again near the majestic Dunethin Rock, offering stunning river views and a glimpse into the region’s geological past. Approaching the turnaround point just before Yandina, the river is beautifully quiet, framed by forested banks and distant mountain silhouettes. Mount Coolum and Mount Ninderry appear throughout the journey, linking the coast to the hinterland.

We did the Kilkenny, Wicklow Mountains & Glendalough tour today with Wild Rover Tours, and we enjoyed it so much! Our favorite part was the sheep farm - watching the sheepdog Spot gather the sheep was amazing and really fun to see. Our guide John was outstanding. He has a great sense of humor, explained everything clearly, and made the whole day interesting. He also had a very personal approach to each of us. And our driver Pete did an incredible job on the Irish roads - so smooth and confident, it was impressive. Thank you for a wonderful day! We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Our trip with Wild Rover Tours to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway City was great and I would recommend it to anybody. JP our driver was quiet but Dave our guide made up for it. Dave was entertaining and gave us a good bit of information and history all along the way and JP got us around timely and safely. A special shout out to Stephen for getting me out of a pickle!

A wonderful day trip to visit Belfast, Dunluce Castle & Giant’s Causeway. Dave’s energy and enthusiasm made the trip extra fun and I appreciate how timely and organized everything was. We had enough time to truly enjoy all of the sights and the didn’t feel rushed at all. I love that the playlist had special meanings and connected well to the tour as well. Shoutout to Billy for the safe and smooth driving. Finally, big extra love to Dave for being so kind and having the entire bus celebrate my birthday and play a special birthday song for me. I travel often, and have done a lot of tours in the past, and this one truly exceeded all expectations and has topped them all. Thank you!

The Belfast and Giant’s Causeway tour is absolutely worth a day trip from Ireland. Dave, our tour guide, and Billy, our driver, were welcoming, personable, and genuine throughout the trip. They took care of all the little things, from offering a charger to someone in need to singing a birthday song for a guest. Dave was very knowledgeable and shared plenty of history and interesting stories. There were multiple stops along the way, and we had plenty of time to enjoy each one. A++ and highly recommended.

What a fantastic day! Our driver, Krishna, needed to work around the Dublin Marathon (no small feat) before getting us on the road and he did so skillfully. He was also great with names, prepared with extra charging cords for those that forgot them, and an all around sound driver. Our guide, John, was excellent. He’s a loud, clear voice, which made it easy to hear the detailed historic recounting he shared with us over the wind and rain and lively Kilkenny food festival. The pace of the day was reasonable, given the delayed start, and the sites (Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny) were fabulous. It was also great to have a tour that’s a mix of city and rural locations. There’s no shortage of beautiful landscapes, fascinating history, subtle wit, welcoming hospitality in Ireland. If you’re on a tour with these two gentlemen, you’ve a great day ahead of you!
